HOW DO I USE MULBERRY?

1. Fruits can be eaten raw or make juice/jam

CARA TANAM

1. Sediakan pasu/plantar yang sesuai. Dicadangkan guna SHS KEBUN 10-gallon Nonwoven Planter atau SHS KEBUN Nonwoven Transplanting Bag dan pindah ke pasu lebih besar bila dah stabil

2. Guna tanah yang kaya dengan bahan organik dan pengaliran yang baik seperti SHS KEBUN 10-in-1 Potting Mix

3. Campurkan SHS KEBUN Vermicompost (lebih kurang 20%), SHS KEBUN Dolomite (lebih kurang satu genggam) dan SHS KEBUN Blood and Bone Meal (lebih kurang satu genggam) sebelum tanam

4. Sekiranya anda tanam di atas tanah, gali satu lubang lebih kurang 50 cm diameter dan kedalaman

5. Cucukkan keratan ke dalam tanah secara tegak, siram air dengan secukupnya dan letak di tempat berteduh

6. Siram air tiap-tiap hari khasnya bila tanah dah kering

7. Biasanya akar akan tumbuh dan pucuk baru/daun mula muncul dalam masa kurang daripada satu bulan

8. Pindah ke tempat bercahaya matahari bila daun sudah muncul (6-8 jam cahaya matahari sehari paling bagus)

9. Sekiranya guna transplanting bag, pindah ke planter lebih besar atau tanah bila pokok sudah stabil

10. Beri baja bernitrogen tinggi seperti Baja Organik SHS KEBUN N6-P3-K3 pada permulaan untuk menggalakkan tumbesaran dan daun yang sihat

11. Beri baja dengan Kalium (K) tinggi bila mula berbuah seperti Baja Semulajadi SHS KEBUN N6-P1-K8 atau N3-P5-K15

12. Semburkan SHS KEBUN Ekstrak Bawang Putih dan Dr Neem sekali-sakala untuk menghalau serangga perosak

13. Selepas buah-buahnya dipetik, letak SHS KEBUN Vermicompost dan baja bernitrogen tinggi semula

Nota:

• Pokok ini akan menjadi besar sekiranya ditanam di atas tanah. Perlu selalu mencantas unttuk mengawal saiz pokok
• Kalau cantas selepas berbuah, pucuk baru akan tumbuh dengan cepat dan berbuah semula
• Petik buah bila menjadi ungu/hitam. Buah yang masih merah rasanya masam

PLANTING TIPS

1. Prepare a suitable pot/planter. We recommend using SHS KEBUN 10-gallon Nonwoven Planter or the SHS KEBUN Nonwoven Transplanting Bag first and later transplant to a bigger planter or ground

2. Use soil that is rich in organic matters and good drainage like the SHS KEBUN 10-in-1 Potting Mix

3. Add the SHS KEBUN Vermicompost (approximately 20%), SHS KEBUN Dolomite (approximately one handful) and SHS KEBUN Blood and Bone Meal (approximately one handful) to the soil before planting.

4. If you are planting onto the ground, dig a hole approximately 50 cm diameter and depth

5. Poke the cutting into the planter or the ground vertically. Water thoroughly. Put the bag under the shade

6. Water every day especially when the soil is dry.

7. The roots will usually form within a month

8. When you see young buds appear, move the planter to a place where it can receive full sun (6-8 hours a day is ideal)

9. If you use a transplanting bag, transplant it to the ground or a bigger planter when the plant is stable. 

10. Start applying high nitrogen organic fertilizer like SHS KEBUN N6-P3-K3 Organic Fertilizer to encourage the growth of new leaves 

11. When you see flowers begin to form, apply high K fertilizer like the SHS KEBUN Natural N6-P1-K8 or N3-P5-K15 Fertilizer

12. Spray the SHS KEBUN Garlic Extract and Dr Neem regularly to prevent pest infestation

13. After harvesting, prune the tree and apply SHS KEBUN Vermicompost and N6-P3-K3 again

Note:

1. Mulberry can grow into a relatively huge tree if planted on the ground. Regular pruning is necessary to control the growth

2. Prune the tree after harvesting to encourage the growth of new buds The tree will grow back very fast

3. If you prefer to eat soft and sweet fruits, only harvest when they are in black/purple colour. They are sour and hard when they are in red colour

Walaupun mulberry sangat senang ditumbuh, kami tidak dapat menjamin bahawa keratan yang diterima akan tumbuh dengan 100% sebab banyak faktor terlibat, khasnya tanah diguna dan sebagainya

Though mulberry is very easy to plant, we don't t guarantee that the cutting will 100% grow/survive because there are many factors that are involved especially how you plant it and the soil you use
